Mae Ramphueng Beach is a popular 11-kilometre beach in Rayong Province, four kilometres from the coastal village of Ban Phe, where our ERA office is located, and around 20 kilometres from Rayong City. Its proximity to Sukhumvit Road makes the area easy to reach by private vehicle and public transport, making it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.

NATURE

The beach is known for its long stretch of golden sand, clear water and gently shelving seabed. The area is relatively calm compared with some of the more crowded beaches, making it ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Mature trees line the wide beach, providing shade for meals and cool rests.

ACTIVITIES

Mae Ramphueng Beach offers water activities such as swimming and banana-boat rides. The calm, shallow water is suitable for families with children. The beach is also known for its scenic sunsets. Local residents often use the long, wide beach for morning or evening walks and runs.

While you are here, you may want to explore nearby attractions such as Khao Laem Ya National Park or Koh Samet, known for its beautiful white beaches and clear water. Boat and ferry trips to these nearby islands are popular, with many options available from the nearby village of Ban Phe. Ban Phe is also worth visiting for its markets, which are particularly popular with Thai visitors.

NIGHTLIFE

Mae Ramphueng Beach is not a destination for nightlife. You can, however, find a few bars close to the beach and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy your evening.
